Mike Serbalik played minor league baseball in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization. In 1997 Mike started the All-Stars Academy in an empty warehouse in Troy New York.
All-Stars Academy has thrived and grown into a state of the art 12 month sports training facility in Latham.
Mikes simply builds a positive environment for athletes to develop their game with professional instruction. Mike has worked with players that are just learning the fundamentals, as well as great players that are honing their skills in the hunt for Division I baseball scholarships.
The approach is the same. Mike and his team get to know the kids, they watch, encourage, and train them. The rewards of playing the game right fuel players to work and play throughout the calendar year.
Mike played shortstop and really enjoys teaching defense. Mike also won the batting title for the twilight league for 212 consecutive years, so he really understands hitting. |
